Marketing Coordinator The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing and communications initiatives that align with organizational and marketing strategic goals. This role coordinates key marketing programs across social media, internal communications, digital marketing, events, campaigns, and general marketing activities. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, the Marketing Coordinator ensures marketing activities are delivered on time, aligned with business objectives, and consistent with Tomlinson's brand standards. Location: 100 Citigate Drive Vacancy Type: Replacement DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Social Media Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day social media management, including community engagement, monitoring and responding to comments and messages, scheduling approved content with the Content Strategic, and coordinating recurring employee recognition content including core values coin, watch and jacket posts. Digital Advertising: Manage and optimize assigned Google Ads and social media advertising campaigns, monitor performance, identify trends, and recommend opportunities. Marketing Communications: Develop, coordinate, write and edit internal communications, including newsletters, TV slides, articles, announcements and award submissions while ensuring alignment with company brand standards. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor, analyze and report on Google Ads, social advertising, and email marketing performance to identify results, trends and opportunities for improvement. Internal Marketing Designs and Print Materials: Develop and coordinate marketing designs, signage, presentations and print materials in alignment with sales goals and company brand standards. Marketing Administration: Monitor the marketing inbox, process Pos and GRs, and provide general administrative support to the marketing department. General Marketing Support: support the successful execution of divisional marketing strategies and other priorities by coordinating assigned campaigns, communications, advertising, collateral and special projects. Event Coordination: Support the Event Lead with the planning and execution of internal events (10 to 500+ attendees), including logistics, vendor and volunteer coordination, event communications, on-site support, and post-event surveys and reporting. Ensure all communications and materials align with established brand standards, messaging and visual identity. Work collaboratively with marketing team members, other internal teams, and external collaborators to support marketing initiatives. Coordinate assigned deliverables from planning through completion, ensuring timelines and requirements are met. REQUIREMENTS: Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 3 – 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media management, or a related role. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, digital advertising, email marketing, analytics, and reporting across Google Ads, LinkedIn Advertising, and Meta Business Suite. Experience managing corporate social media platforms, including scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and reporting. Experience coordinating internal communications, newsletters, announcements, and employee engagement communications. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and a commitment to brand consistency. Experience coordinating events and working with external vendors is considered an asset. Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Growth is considered an asset. COMPENSATION INFORMATION: The expected range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
