About the Opportunity We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 1 Driver – Daycab (Local) to join our transportation team. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods across regional and long-distance routes while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. What You'll Do * Operate Class 1 tractor-trailers for local routes * Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections * Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and HOS/Transport Canada regulations * Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution * Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and required paperwork * Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams * Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly * Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups * 5–6 days per week, 40 hours per week (seasonal variation may apply) * Exposure to all weather conditions * Combination of driving and physical labor (loading/unloading as required) What You Bring * Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record * 3–5 years of commercial long-haul driving experience * Strong knowledge of highway driving, routes, and safety procedures * Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions * Physically capable of lifting, securing, and handling freight * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills * Basic knowledge of truck mechanics for minor roadside repairs What We Offer * Competitive wages that reflect your experience and the work you bring * Flexible benefits for full-time staff — choose the coverage that works for you * RRSP matching to help you build toward your future * Belong to one of Western Canada's largest Greenhouses – join a high-performing team in a fast-moving environment * A workplace that's a little greener than most — literally * Generous employee discount * A team that takes care in what they grow – plants, people, and opportunities Note: Incentive programs, benefits, and perks have eligibility requirements.
