Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (Mandatory Days: Wednesday and second day is flexible. But must be 2 days in office - 2 days is mandatory) Pay Rate: $63.67/hr - $73.59/hr Contract Length: 6 Months with possibility for extension We at Raise are hiring a Business Analyst - Intermediate for one of our top clients. We’re hiring right now; if you’re interested, apply below for your chance to join a great place to work Responsibilities Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities Supports one or more highly complex business processes Works on multiple projects as a project team member Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs Must-Have Requirement 5-7 years' experience required A bachelor's degree in a business or technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. Solid understanding of Agile concepts and provide detailed, real-world examples. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies Experience leading stakeholder discussions and facilitating working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit user stories Strong documentation skills Experience with Confluence and Jira Proficiency with MS Office suite Experience documenting user stories and participating in Agile ceremonies Experience supporting QA and UAT Banking or insurance industry experience Nice To Have Skills MBA or other related advanced degree preferred Experience with Third-party management lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, finance, and supplier management, procurement system implementations Advanced degree (MBA or similar) Banking experience Looking for meaningful work? Requirements

Requires 5–7 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in a business or technical field, and strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Candidates should have experience facilitating stakeholder sessions, documenting user stories, using Confluence and Jira, participating in Agile ceremonies, and supporting QA and UAT; banking or insurance experience is also required.
