Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable. Description The Contracts Professiona lin this role is responsible for financial reconciliation activities for a portfolio of vendor contracts to ensure contractual compliance, financial accuracy, and effective expenditure management. The role leverages analysis tools to monitor contract performance, validate financial data, identify discrepancies, support forecasting and reporting, and drive continuous process improvements. Working closely with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, the position ensures adherence to contract terms, financial controls, and organizational policies while delivering accurate and timely business insights. Responsibilities Perform financial reconciliation for a diverse portfolio of vendor contracts. Ensure contractual compliance, high financial accuracy, and effective expenditure management. Leverage analysis tools to monitor contract performance, validate financial data, and identify discrepancies. Support forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on contract usage, budgets, and finance control requirements. Drive continuous process improvements for contract management and financial workflows. Collaborate closely with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to contract terms and organizational policies. Deliver accurate and timely business insights to support decision-making. Qualifications A minimum five (5) years of contract management work experience with experience monitoring contract performance, identifying issues, and taking timely action to resolve risks Advanced skills in computer applications such as SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Dynamics, and Project) Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken Nice to haves: Knowledge of public sector procurement law and supply chain concepts Strong working knowledge of project management principles Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and supply chain teams Experience forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on contract usage, budgets, and finance control requirements Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent Additional Information Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
