Contract Length: 1 year Location: Calgary, Alberta Raise is currently hiring a Mail Clerk on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is a major Canadian airline. Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable. Description The Mail Clerk to join our clints team on-site at the the Calgary Airport . In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, sorting, and distribution of all corporate mail and packages, ensuring adherence to strict security and confidentiality protocols while providing exceptional customer service to internal departments. Responsibilities Mail & Package Operations: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate departments and employees. Outbound Logistics: Prepare outgoing corporate mail, courier shipments, and all related documentation. Conduct occasional shipment tracking via carrier websites. Mailroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized mailroom and designated storage areas. Compliance & Security: Ensure full compliance with corporate security, confidentiality, and proper item handling procedures at all times. Customer Support: Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent customer service to employees regarding mail and package inquiries. Key Deliverables Ensure all packages and mail are delivered to the proper staff promptly, strictly following all outlined corporate procedures. Ensure all packages picked up on-site are processed and sent out for delivery within a reasonable and efficient timeframe. Qualifications Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfort working on a busy shipping floor environment. Nice-to-Haves Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures. Familiarity with major courier procedures and general exposure to the aviation industry. Soft Skills Great written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. Education and Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
