As a Ship Repair Estimator, you will assess project scopes, prepare detailed cost estimates, and contribute to successful project deliveries. Your expertise will shape competitive proposals and ensure accurate project reflections. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates. Prepare detailed cost estimates for ship repair projects. Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather project information. Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand project scope. Analyze and manage project risks for reliable estimates. Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and provide expert guidance. Maintain a database of costs for ship repair activities. Support bidding process with competitive proposals. Requirements: Canadian citizenship or authorization to work in Canada. Experience in ship repair estimating or related maritime field. Background in marine engineering or naval architecture advantageous. Strong understanding of ship repair processes and materials. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. The Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for ship repair projects by reviewing specifications and blueprints. They will also collaborate with stakeholders, manage project risks, and support the bidding process with competitive proposals.

Candidates must have experience in ship repair estimating or a related maritime field, with a background in marine engineering or naval architecture being advantageous. Proficiency in estimating software and strong analytical and communication skills are required.
