Job summary
This is a full time, permanent, office based position. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Lead all accounting functions, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, and coordinate tax filings and audits. Operational Finance: Oversee job costing, WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting, estimating, and inventory controls to monitor project profitability. Treasury & Strategy: Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and banking relationships; provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making. Process Improvement: Develop and enhance internal systems, ERP processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency across the business. Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and build a high-performance finance and accounting team. Designation: CPA/CMA designation preferred. Experience: 5+ years of accounting/finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Technical Expertise: Strong mastery of job costing, WIP management, and ERP systems. Industry Knowledge: Background in custom/project based manufacturing, architectural millwork, metal fabrication, or project-based/construction environments is a strong asset. Skills: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities with strong attention to detail. Communication: Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, bridging the gap between executive leadership and shop floor operations.
