Advantages * direct visibility with executive leadership and a clear path toward broader finance management * play a key role in building and refining financial systems and controls rather than just maintaining existing processes * fully remote opportunity * competive base and bonus structure Responsibilities * partner with operations and project leadership to analyze budget vs actuals, monitor committed costs, track margin variances and improve forecast accuracy * oversee complete project accounting from initial job setup, cost-code assignment, and progress billing to holdbacks/retainage, WIP analysis, and final closeout * manage vendors/subcontractor AP, including line item validation, PO matching, coding, and payment scheduling to optimize working capital * prepare period end journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and executive management packages * develop custom dashboards and KPI's while strengthening internal controls, reporting workflows and ERP integration Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finace * CPA designation preferred (or active CPA candidate) * 3-5 yrs of dedicated project accounting experience within construction or infrastructure environments * advanced proficiency in job costing, multi-site program accounting * Procore system is a strong assert * Exceptional analytical, problem solving, cross functional communication skills and a strong eye for detail Summary If you are a detail oriented project accountant ready to take ownership of a growing infrastructure portfolio and build scalable financial systems, please reach out to me today and be sure to apply directly to this post. The role involves managing the complete project accounting lifecycle, including job costing, progress billing, and WIP analysis for infrastructure projects. The analyst will partner with operations to monitor budget variances and develop financial dashboards and internal controls.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of project accounting experience in construction or infrastructure. A CPA designation is preferred, along with proficiency in Procore and advanced job costing.
