Advantages * direct visibility with executive leadership and a clear path toward broader finance management * play a key role in building and refining financial systems and controls rather than just maintaining existing processes * fully remote opportunity * competive base and bonus structure Responsibilities * partner with operations and project leadership to analyze budget vs actuals, monitor committed costs, track margin variances and improve forecast accuracy * oversee complete project accounting from initial job setup, cost-code assignment, and progress billing to holdbacks/retainage, WIP analysis, and final closeout * manage vendors/subcontractor AP, including line item validation, PO matching, coding, and payment scheduling to optimize working capital * prepare period end journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and executive management packages * develop custom dashboards and KPI's while strengthening internal controls, reporting workflows and ERP integration Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finace * CPA designation preferred (or active CPA candidate) * 3-5 yrs of dedicated project accounting experience within construction or infrastructure environments * advanced proficiency in job costing, multi-site program accounting * Procore system is a strong assert * Exceptional analytical, problem solving, cross functional communication skills and a strong eye for detail Summary If you are a detail oriented project accountant ready to take ownership of a growing infrastructure portfolio and build scalable financial systems, please reach out to me today and be sure to apply directly to this post. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of project accounting experience in construction or infrastructure. A CPA designation is preferred, along with proficiency in Procore and advanced job costing.
