Translation Specialist (12 Month Contract) Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada - up to 2 days in the office, Downtown Vancouver Industry: Retail Our Client and their Localization team drives company-wide localization strategy. We are seeking an experienced English to Canadian French linguist to deliver high-quality translation and copywriting, partnering with regional managers to ensure timely, culturally resonant messaging. Responsibilities Produce impactful French (Canada) content for internal and external channels. Ensure translation quality and consistency across packaging, digital, and learning platforms. Maintain style guides, translation memories, and glossaries. Review vendor and AI output to drive quality control. Transcreate urgent materials including ads, media releases, and training content. Qualifications Native-level fluency in Canadian French and English. 5+ years of translation and creative copywriting experience. Proficiency with localization tech, TMS, and CAT tools (HTML/TXML a plus). Strong time management and cross-cultural communication skills.
