We provide a variety of operational logistics services, including loading, transportation, and storage of surplus products. Ray-Mont Logistics is currently looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The Class 1 Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, while ensuring compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations. Work Schedule Evening shift, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working overtime. Key Responsibilities The Class 1 Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting containers and intermodal units (trailers) throughout the Island of Montréal. The driver's responsibilities include: Optimizing the movement of intermodal units (empty/full) between CN and/or CP yards and our facilities. Picking up empty containers from various container depots across the Island of Montréal. Delivering full containers to various terminals at the Port of Montréal (MGT/Termont). Operating very recent trucks equipped with manual transmissions* (10- or 18-speed). Working under the supervision of the dispatcher assigned to the driver's shift. Qualifications & Skills Valid Class 1 driver's licence. Clean driving record. DEP in Heavy Vehicle Driving or equivalent training. Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles. Knowledge of the container transportation industry. Knowledge of the operations and procedures of the various Port of Montréal terminals and container depots across the Island of Montréal is essential. Experience operating B-train trailers is a strong asset. Positive attitude and ability to work well with colleagues. Ability and willingness to work significant amounts of overtime when required.
