Job Description What is the opportunity? The RBC Wealth Digital team is innovative and rapidly growing. We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer who is passionate about technology and bring a depth of mobile application development experience. What will you do? You will be a key contributor to iOS development efforts on one of our mobile squads working on Wealth Digital team. This will include: Feature development in Swift to expand the functionality of RBC’s mobile banking application Ensuring that proper design and architectural patterns are being used to allow the app to scale effectively Participating in code reviews to ensure quality of code delivered by the team Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product owners, testers, user-experience, security and fraud Continuously improving the app, finding ways to simplify and refactor code What do you need to succeed? Must-have: 3+ years of experience developing for iOS in Swift Experience with UI development in both SwiftUI and UIKit A solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming, MVVM and iOS application architecture Experience with iOS unit testing frameworks and writing code designed for tests Experience with development and source control tools (Xcode, git, etc) Understanding of IT Standards, UX Design, Accessibility, Agile Methodologies Nice-to-have: KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) Familiarity with AI-assisted development platforms (e.g., GitHub Copilot, IDE plugins) Objective-C experience Experience in a banking environment Mobile payments experience OAuth 2/OIDC RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web services. What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires at least three years of iOS development experience with Swift, experience building interfaces in SwiftUI and UIKit, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, MVVM, and iOS architecture. Candidates should also have experience with iOS unit testing, Xcode and Git, and knowledge of IT standards, UX design, accessibility, and Agile methodologies.
