Job summary
Working alongside the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Development Representative (SDR), Americas, will focus heavily on sales support, operational workflows, and rigorous data management. This hands-on position is tailored for a strategic researcher who is comfortable engaging with senior school decision-makers and deeply passionate about educational technology. Your mission is to construct a highly structured database framework, qualify inbound/outbound leads, and optimize our sales funnel infrastructure to map out the private and international school landscapes in North America and LATAM. Key Responsibilities Sales Support & CRM Management ● Support day-to-day sales and administrative activities for the Director of Sales and Marketing. ● Qualify inbound and outbound leads through highly targeted discovery calls and initial school needs assessments. ● Oversee and optimize CRM backend usage, managing system integrations, public forms, chatbot functionalities, automated sequences, and data reporting. ● Conduct direct outbound sales outreach, combining cold calling with deeply personalized email campaigns tailored to prospective institutions. Lead Generation & Pipeline Development ● Build segmented, scalable lead databases using advanced data tools like Apollo, Trade Commissioner Offices, conference attendee sheets, and established partner networks. ● Thoroughly map and maintain databases of boarding schools, day schools, private schools, and American International Schools across both North America and LATAM. ● Systematically identify and profile key decision-makers, including Heads of School, IT Directors, Safety Officers, and Procurement/Operations leaders. ● Capture and qualify high-value leads generated from international conferences, regional events, and partner referrals. ● Execute structured, timely post-event and post-meeting follow-up workflows. Market Research & Regional Outreach Coordination ● Conduct deep-dive institutional research across the Americas to analyze regional buying cycles, budget constraints, and evolving safety or risk-management trends. ● Coordinate school site visits, virtual presentations, and live platform demonstrations in priority regional markets. ● Support preparation for international delegations, trade missions, and conferences, occasionally representing Reach on-site at select industry events across North America and LATAM. Qualifications & Experience ● Prior School Experience: It is highly advantageous if you have previously worked in K-12 independent schools, residential life, boarding programs, pastoral care, or school administration. ● CRM & Technical Proficiency: Proven experience utilizing and configuring CRM systems (HubSpot is strongly preferred) and AI tools. Comfort managing backend features like tracking integrations, sequences, and reporting forms is key. ● Data & Research Competency: Demonstrated experience with database-building tools and executing structured market research. ● Strong Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a natural ability to confidently present technical solutions to senior educational leaders. ● Travel-Ready: Full willingness and ability to travel internationally for school visits and regional trade conferences.
