Job Title: Mainframe Developer Job Location: Toronto,Ontario -Hybrid (4 days a week in Office) Long Term Contract Years of experience: 8+ years Tech stack – IBM Mainframe - Deep IMS knowledge Designer skills: Should be able to independently analyze IMS Segments, create detailed design, lead junior developer, participate end to end field mapping, develop/ unit test and deploy code Soft skill: this person will be placed in a pod with no major mainframe experience hence person should be able to learn independently. Candidate should be a good problem solver with good ability to adapt & learn. Nice to have (non-mandatory) knowledge of Kafka & RESTful APIs

The Mainframe Developer will independently analyze IMS segments, create detailed designs, and lead junior developers. They will also participate in end-to-end field mapping, develop, unit test, and deploy code.

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience with a deep understanding of IBM Mainframe and IMS. They should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn independently.
