Prepare corporate and personal tax returns, financial statements, and required forms for the CRA and other government entities. Communicate with clients, meet deadlines, and, as applicable, lead meetings to discuss financial statements, valuations, and tax planning.

Prepare personal and business tax returns, explain the filing process, identify errors, and advise clients about tax rules and amounts due or refunded. Prepare financial statements and handle CRA-related matters, including GST/HST returns and tax account reconciliations.

Lead the finance function, including month-end close, reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, controls, and management of receivables, payables, payroll, inventory accounting, and purchasing controls. Advise the CEO on financial and growth decisions, improve profitability and reporting tools, manage and develop the finance team, and identify applicable grants, subsidies, and tax incentives.
