We are seeking a full-time Intermediate Biologist to join a team of environmental professionals based in Williams Lake, British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have strong field skills and experience conducting environmental monitoring, field data collection, and technical reporting across a variety of projects, market sectors, and environmental disciplines. This position offers a combination of office and fieldwork, with travel required for field assignments. The majority of work will be based throughout the Cariboo-Chilcotin Region of Central British Columbia. What We Offer Relocation assistance Tailored career growth and professional development opportunities Comprehensive benefits package, including extended health coverage, bonus opportunities, RRSP matching, and more Diverse projects and exposure to a broad range of clients and industries Professional, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment Flexible work arrangements that support work-life balance Inclusive and values-driven workplace culture Opportunity to work on projects throughout the Cariboo-Chilcotin region Job Responsibilities The Intermediate Biologist will be responsible for a variety of environmental consulting activities, including: Supporting the preparation of environmental assessments, management plans, and related documentation in accordance with provincial and federal regulatory requirements Leading field crews conducting environmental data collection and monitoring activities Conducting fish and wildlife salvages, water sampling, nest sweeps, vegetation surveys, and other environmental field programs Preparing technical reports, proposals, monitoring summaries, study designs, and other project documentation Supervising, training, and mentoring junior biologists to support their technical and professional development Supporting project planning, including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination Contributing to business development initiatives with support from senior team members Qualifications BSc or MSc in Biology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline Professional designation such as RPBio, PBiol, PAg, or RBTech Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or the natural resource sector Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory requirements in British Columbia Experience with environmental monitoring, erosion and sediment control, and site reclamation Ability to prepare and review professional reports, study designs, project proposals, and quotations Valid Class 5 driver's licence and experience operating 4x4 vehicles in off-highway environments Legally authorized to work in Canada
