Reframe Education collaborates closely with families to create consistent support across home, school, and community settings. Role Description The Orton Gillingham Practitioner will provide structured, multisensory literacy instruction to school age learners with dyslexia and related learning differences. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering individualized lessons in a manner that connects to the interest of each child. OG Practitioners are independent contractors who design their own schedule. . Qualifications Experienced Orton Gillingham Practitioner with demonstrated experience delivering structured literacy instruction to learners with dyslexia. Knowledge of ADHD and executive functioning challenges, and how these challenges impact acquisition of literacy. Ability to conduct progress monitoring and write progress reports Understanding of psycho-educational assessments and willingness to be trained Excellent written, oral communication and collaboration skills for working with families, schools, and other professionals. Comfortable with a hybrid model of in person and virtual sessions. Relevant degree or coursework in education, special education, psychology, or a related field is an asset. Experience working with neurodivergent learners and a commitment to a learner centred, strengths-based approach. Current professional certifications or membership in relevant educational or dyslexia associations.
