The ideal candidate will have a strong automotive sales background, a proven track record of success, extensive pre-owned vehicle experience, and exceptional leadership, coaching, and training skills. Working closely with the General Manager and fellow Sales Managers, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department and lead a high-performing team while driving sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, and market share. Key Responsibilities Help achieve dealership goals related to sales, profitability, CSI, market share, and team performance Lead, coach, train, and motivate Product Advisors while supporting their daily activities Work with Product Advisors to appraise vehicles, desk and close deals Play an active role in managing the pre-owned vehicle department, including purchasing, appraisals, wholesale, retail, and inventory management Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and results Recruit, onboard, and develop new Product Advisors as required Maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction and customer experience Utilize social media and digital platforms to promote inventory, vehicle merchandising, engage with potential guests, and generate sales opportunities Support the Business Office and Delivery Team to ensure a seamless guest experience Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive sales role with proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets Extensive experience in pre-owned vehicle operations Strong leadership, coaching, training, and team development skills Excellent desking, closing, negotiation, and deal-structuring abilities Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable and knowledgeable with social media and digital platforms Ability to analyze data and draw insights from systems including DMS, vAuto, AutoAlert, social media, and other sales tools; experience with multiple DMS platforms is an asset.
