JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director, Facilities Infrastructure and Services, or delegate, the Truck Driver is responsible for the transfer of books, miscellaneous library materials and equipment between library sites, and other locations in Regina, as well as other duties as assigned. The position will involve independent, unsupervised time and is physically demanding. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assemble, load, transfer, and unload library materials and equipment on a daily basis. 2. Maintain and operate library vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. 3. Ensure the security and safety of library property while in the facilities. 4. Other general maintenance duties as assigned by the employer. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school graduation or its equivalent. 2. Physically fit and able to perform the requirements of the position. 3. Ability to follow instructions, work responsibly and co-operatively, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times. 4. Good driving record. 5. Class 4 driver’s license required. Class 1 driver’s license preferred. Closing Date: August 20, 2026 Competition #60/26 - position #15160 This is a full-time, permanent position.
