Fonctions principales Analyser des réclamations complexes pouvant avoir des répercussions juridiques, financières ou réputationnelles Élaborer et offrir des programmes de formation destinés à l’industrie et aux clients Réaliser des audits chez les clients Agir à titre de responsable du processus de gestion des réclamations et favoriser l’amélioration continue Gérer les activités juridiques, de conformité et d’audit liées aux réclamations Collaborer avec l’équipe de développement des affaires et la tenir informée de tout enjeu lié à la clientèle Fournir l’orientation et le leadership nécessaires à l’atteinte des objectifs de l’équipe Participer activement aux présentations destinées aux clients et représenter RGA lors d’événements et de rencontres de l’industrie. Agir comme « mentor » auprès des membres de l’équipe Contribuer au maintien de la compétitivité de RGA sur le marché en soutenant le processus décisionnel et en fournissant des recommandations stratégiques Qualifications Baccalauréat en administration, en sciences ou dans un domaine connexe, ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience Minimum de sept (7) années d’expérience dans un poste de gestion lié au secteur des réclamations Désignation FLMI, FSI, ACS ou ARA, un atout Compétences et aptitudes Excellentes capacités d’analyse, de jugement et de relations interpersonnelles, ainsi qu’une aptitude démontrée à établir et maintenir des relations de travail efficaces avec les clients internes et externes Excellentes habiletés de communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais. La connaissance de l’anglais est requise afin de communiquer régulièrement avec des clients, partenaires et collègues situés à l’extérieur du Québec et d’examiner de la documentation spécialisée rédigée en anglais Aisance à discuter de dossiers complexes avec des clients corporatifs, y compris dans des situations où les positions ou décisions divergent Capacité à prendre rapidement des décisions éclairées concernant des dossiers pouvant mener à une annulation de couverture, y compris la capacité de collaborer avec des conseillers juridiques Initiative marquée et solides compétences en prise de décision. Grande expertise technique et souci du détail dans l’analyse et la révision des dossiers Capacité à analyser les tendances en matière de réclamations et à se tenir au fait des nouvelles maladies ainsi que des meilleures pratiques du secteur Aptitude à travailler efficacement avec divers systèmes et outils technologiques Très bonne connaissance de l’industrie de l’assurance et de la réassurance Reporting to the AVP, Claims, the Director, Individual Claims, manages all activities related to claims. The Director defines the vision and the strategy for the management of his/her clients and set teams objectives accordingly. Key Responsibilities Analyze complex claims that may have a legal, financial or reputational impact Develop and deliver training programs for the industry and clients Conduct client audits Owner of the claims process, responsible for facilitating continuous improvement Manage legal, compliance and audits activities related to claims Collaborate with the business development team and inform them of any issues related to clients Provide directions to achieve the team’s objectives Actively participate in client presentations; Represent RGA in industry meetings Provide mentoring to the team Support RGA to maintain our competitiveness in the market by supporting the decision-making process Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience 7+ Years of experience in a management position related to Claims FLMI, FSI, ACS or ARA accreditation is an asset Skills and Abilities: Excellent analysis, judgment, interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external clients Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French & English, proficiency in English is required to communicate regularly with clients, business partners, and colleagues located outside of Quebec, and to review specialized documentation prepared in English. Compensation Range: $105,100.00 - $131,350.00 Annual Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
