Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for ICI new build projects, considering materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing. Review project drawings, specifications, and scope to develop thorough and competitive bids. Collaborate with the project management team and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements. Analyze tender submissions and subcontractor proposals to ensure alignment with project budgets and requirements. Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities. Maintain an up-to-date database of material, labor, and subcontractor costs for future projects. Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, providing updates and recommendations to management. Skills and Experience: Construction Expertise: Demonstrated experience in estimating ICI new build projects, with strong knowledge of construction methods and costs. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze project information to produce accurate estimates. Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in construction estimating, ideally with experience in ICI projects. Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field. Extra Consideration will be given to candidates with experience in: ICI Estimating, New Build Projects, Tendering, Subcontractor Coordination, Cost Management, Value Engineering, Scheduling, Project Management.
