Use modern AI-assisted and spec-driven development to move faster, while owning the architecture, correctness, and quality that tooling cannot guarantee on its own. Set the technical standard with systems that are well-tested, resilient, extensible, and scalable, and that make it easy for others to contribute. Uphold our Foundational Excellence standards for security, reliability, and observability, resolving risks before they become incidents. Develop and deliver short- and long-term roadmaps, making tradeoffs across priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation. Mentor and grow the team through code, design, and architecture reviews, and represent Remitly's values and technical bar in interviews. Collaborate with partners across Product, Design, Analytics, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Operations to turn customer needs into scalable solutions. Clear, objective written and in-person communication, including the ability to articulate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
