Role Description The Business Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Halifax, NS. This position focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting outreach to prospective clients, and nurturing relationships with existing partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, performing lead generation activities, conducting discovery calls, and presenting Remplo’s workforce solutions to decision-makers. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to understand service capabilities, preparing proposals, and supporting contract negotiations. The representative will also track activities in a CRM system, analyze market trends, and contribute to sales strategies that drive growth in key sectors. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Inside Sales and Sales, with experience managing a pipeline and closing opportunities. Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation and Business Development, including prospecting, outreach, and market research. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, with the ability to present solutions and build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience in B2B services, staffing, construction, industrial, or facilities sectors is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Halifax, NS, with strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software; comfort with reporting and data tracking. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated self-motivation, resilience, and a goal-oriented approach to achieving sales targets. We’re looking for someone with strong business-development, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Previous field-sales, staffing, recruitment or construction-industry experience is an asset. Candidates must be physically available in Halifax or New Brunswick and able to travel regularly.
