October 16, 2026 THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD requires the following EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL SCHOOL: Mackenzie Community School, Deep River FTE: 100% (35 hours per week) QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum two year community college diploma in the social services field (e.g. DSW, CYW, SSW), or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the Board. (Transcripts may be requested to support relevant course detail.) Applicants must have a proven ability and willingness to perform the essential duties of an Educational Support Personnel, including toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting, transferring, positioning and providing assistance with mobility. Other Relevant Training That Would Be An Asset Autism Spectrum Disorder Training Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) Lifting training WHMIS certification Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) Prior experience using computer supports and adaptive/assistive technology is an asset Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in the Collective Agreement for the Educational Support Personnel and the RCDSB Administrative Procedures. Positions will be filled by members of the Board's Educational Support Personnel bargaining unit BEFORE external applications are considered. The Board reserves the right not to fill a position. Requirements

A minimum two-year community college diploma in social services, such as DSW, CYW, or SSW, is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the Board. Applicants must be able and willing to perform the essential physical and personal-care duties; training in autism support, behaviour management, lifting, WHMIS, and assistive technology is an asset.
