Rentco's Tool Shed (a division of Rentco Equipment Ltd.) is a local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for over 60 years. They provide the tools and equipment to complete home-owner repairs and maintenance. Rentco's Tool Shed is also a "go-to" place in Grande Prairie for event rentals, permanent holiday lighting, and Stihl and Husqvarna tools. We are currently looking for a full-time Laborer to work out of our Grande Prairie Tool Shed location. As a Labourer, you are responsible for : Preparing and loading shipments for customers and clients Demonstrating equipment to customers and ensuring they feel comfortable using the rental equipment Inspecting returned items for damages and reporting them to Management Washing the tents, tables, and chairs according to company standards Completing secure and accurate loading and unloaded of deliveries Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard Performing routine checks on rental equipment to ensure that it is safe and in good working order Traveling to customer and client sites to set-up and take-down event tents and lighting You have the following skills and abilities: Ability to work outside in all temperatures while wearing required PPE (steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses) Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to take initiative and work hard as a team member Ability to provide excellent customer service skills Class 5 driver’s licence, preferred General knowledge of homeowner equipment and mechanical experience would be an asset Rentco’s Toolshed offers: Competitive wages (this position pays $20.00-$22.00/hr) Promote from within policy Fantastic team to work with Monthly cake days to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries
