We are hiring a temporary, full-time Parts Technician to work at our Grande Prairie Head Office until the end of February 2027. As the Parts Technician, you are responsible for: * Providing excellent customers service in-person, over the phone, via e-mail, or through Kenect by assisting them with their parts inquiries * Processing customer’s parts purchases using Point of Rental (POR) and in accordance with Rentco’s procedures * Supplying service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms * Verifying received shipments by checking order against shipping documents * Reporting stock levels to Service Manager or Branch Manager, following up on shortages and reporting shortages to Manager * Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge through dealer specific training, such as, but not limited to Bobcat, Husqvarna, Stihl, Honda, etc. * Keeping parts department stocked and orderly by maintaining min and max levels * Acting as a Counter Sales Representative when required including working on the front counter on a Saturday rotation You have the following education, training, and skills: * Journeyman/Journeyperson Parts Technician (preferred), or 2nd-3rd Year Apprentice * Intermediate computer skills with proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite and Windows * Excellent attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ablity to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers * Ablity to perform basic mathematical calculations * Ablity to lift up to 50 lbs.
