Winnipeg, MB Architect About The Position We’re growing and looking for an Architect to join the #PeopleOfRepublic. As a member of the architectural team, the Architect will be responsible for the development of enclosure retrofits for existing buildings, fit-ups, upgrades, and new construction projects. What You’ll Do Collaborate with like-minded architects, interior designers, and technologists; Author written recommendations for remedial work, and/or assemblies for retrofit and new work; Prepare technical drawings for owner review and costing, tender and construction; Collaborate alongside a broad, multidisciplinary consultant team, and our client groups; and Balance a desire for design excellence, sustainability and cost effectiveness. Tell us why you’re our next Architect by e-mailing your resume to: careers@republicarchitecture.ca Qualifications At least four (4) years of experience in Canadian architectural practice; Experience with BIM software, specifically Autodesk Revit is an asset; Exemplary technical design and problem solving skills; Broad experience with detailing and preparation of construction documents for a variety of types of building envelope projects, both new construction and renovations/retrofits; and A proven track record of maintaining high quality standards while meeting project milestones. Fluency in the French language an asset.

Autodesk Revit experience is an asset, and French fluency is also an asset; candidates should be able to maintain quality while meeting project milestones.
