AI Solutions Lead (Copilot)

Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a contract-based AI Enablement & Solutions Lead to help scale enterprise AI adoption through Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, and Power Platform. Duration: 3 months to start (strong possibility of extension to 6 months) and option to convert to FTE after. Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON (2–3 days onsite) Responsibilities Provide technical guidance on Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, Researcher, Analyst, Power Platform, connectors, and related AI capabilities. Evaluate incoming requests and determine whether they require user education, licensing changes, configuration updates, governance review, technical troubleshooting, or formal escalation. Perform advanced technical triage before routing issues to Engineering, Security, Platform, Infrastructure, Microsoft 365, or other technology teams. Develop technical playbooks, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and reusable solution patterns for common AI scenarios. Create guidance covering Copilot Studio environments, Agent Builder access, connector capabilities, Power Platform governance, DLP policies, permissions, and environment management. Partner with business enablement teams to transform recurring technical issues into reusable knowledge articles, workshops, labs, and learning content. Support advanced AI labs, maker sessions, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops. Assess business use cases and recommend appropriate implementation approaches using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, custom AI solutions, or enterprise delivery teams. Contribute to solution architecture, feasibility assessments, technical guardrails, and responsible AI practices. Maintain technical documentation, escalation paths, and support models for enterprise AI capabilities. Collaborate with Microsoft 365 administrators, security teams, architects, and business stakeholders to support successful AI adoption. Qualifications 7–12 years of progressive experience in enterprise technology, solution architecture, AI enablement, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform. 3+ years implementing or supporting Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, or related AI technologies. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, Power Platform, and Power Automate. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and enterprise collaboration services. Experience with Microsoft connectors, APIs, enterprise integrations, and automation. Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), environment strategy, solution deployment, and tenant administration. Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, security, compliance, governance, DLP, and responsible AI principles. Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation, and solution design skills. Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders. Microsoft certifications related to Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI, or Microsoft 365 are considered an asset.

Lead the scaling of enterprise AI adoption by providing technical guidance and architecture for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform. Develop technical playbooks, perform advanced triage, and partner with business teams to create reusable AI solution patterns.

Requires 7-12 years of experience in enterprise technology with at least 3 years specifically implementing Microsoft Power Platform or Copilot technologies. Must possess strong skills in M365 architecture, security governance, and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
