The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, physically capable, detail focused, and freestyle oriented. The applicant must be able to work in a team environment and is required to work in all weather conditions that come to the mountain. You Will Perform inspections and maintenance on park features multiple times a day Test features regularly to ensure a quality product for guests Daily upkeep of all fences, signage, hit markers, features, music, and everything that falls into the park boundaries Help design and build parks; build take-offs, landings, lift features Dig out features on days we get snow Make safety the number one priority — knowing and adhering to the Alpine Responsibility Code and educating the public in the park Work with other departments, including; Grooming, Snow Making, and Ski Patrol Maintain a conditions and features inspection log throughout the day Conduct rider counts and encourage good park etiquette Maintain a clean site You Have Strong skiing or boarding skills. The ability to ride with equipment and tools in your hands. As well as being able to hit features confidently Ability to work outside in various weather conditions Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted Terrain Park building experience, certifications are an asset Freestyle experience, certifications are an asset Ski industry experience, an asset Be prepared to be in Ski/ Snowboard boots all day Dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic professionals with strong customer service skills Good interpersonal skills, working in a team environment Punctual and reliable Compensation And Benefits Competitive wage: $19.00/hour Mountain access perks: Staff receive an RCR pass with full mountain access, plus reciprocal resort tickets and discounted friends & family tickets Staff discounts: Enjoy savings on food & beverage, rentals, retail items and hotel accommodation.
