Job summary
You Will Operate snowmaking and related equipment safely and responsibly. Maintain a daily snowmaking log and perform pre- and post-operation checks. Conduct daily light maintenance on equipment, including topping up fluids, cleaning, greasing, and fueling as needed. Layout, connect, charge, discharge, disconnect, thaw, and drain hoses during setup and teardown. Activate and deactivate the snowmaking pump as required. Recognize and report potential hazards or unusual situations (e.g., noises, poor production quality) to the appropriate managers or teams, and assist in emergency situations. Assist maintenance staff and perform other general duties as assigned. Perform snow removal, snow farming, and snow fencing. Monitor and adjust snow guns as required. Participate in performance management and continuous improvement efforts. You Have Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of basic operations and equipment maintenance. A basic understanding of mountain resort maintenance and ski/snowboarding terrain needs. Previous experience with snowmaking or terrain building. A strong commitment to safety. Excellent attention to detail, communication, teamwork and cooperation skills. The flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and night shifts. The physical capability to operate and maintain equipment. The ability to work in isolated areas and tolerate brief exposure to extreme weather conditions, including snow, wind, and cold. Comfort working with high voltage and high-water pressure. We Offer Competitive Wage: $19.77 - $21.12 per hour.
