Job summary

About Us Retailogists scales retail businesses as a true growth partner, accountable for measurable business outcomes, not deliverables. We build the strategy, then execute the roadmap ourselves. Our team spans every function that moves the P&L: sales, marketing, operations, finance, and technology, working as one to drive profitable growth. Alongside our growth partner practice, we build and sell our own tech products (Avia, Orca, Kora, and what's next), each one born out of a real client problem. About the Role We're hiring a Product Manager, Operations to own a book of client accounts within Retailogists' growth partner practice: their P&L, their billables, and their performance outcomes. You'll set the operations and systems roadmap for each account and drive it to results. Inventory that isn't where the demand is, orders that route badly, systems that don't talk to each other, data nobody trusts: these cap what a business can sell long before anything else does. We don't run transformation projects for their own sake. Every integration, migration, and process redesign on your roadmap has to pay for itself in revenue unlocked or cost taken out, and you're the one who makes that case up front and proves it after. Where we have specialist teams, you brief them, direct them, and hold them to the numbers. Everywhere else, you're the one doing the work: the systems audit, the integration spec, the migration plan, the process redesign. This is a hands-on role, and it stays hands-on as your book grows. You'll reprioritize as needs shift and make the calls that keep your book profitable and your clients winning at the pace retail now moves, while feeding client-side insight back into our internal product roadmap (Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products). Why Join Us Work directly with C-levels and decision-makers at leading retail businesses, starting from day one Own a book of business outright: the strategy, the execution, the P&L, and the results See what's working across a portfolio of retailers, not just one, and build pattern recognition no in-house role can give you Turn struggling businesses around and take them back to growth, repeatedly, across a range of retail models Work alongside a dynamic team of A players, where everyone is visibly good at their job and the bar stays high Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy, performance-based environment where results are directly rewarded, and the company is growing fast enough that your scope grows with it Influence the roadmap of Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products through direct, real-world client exposure Five days a week together in our Old Port office, because the work is better in the same room, and lunch is on us every Friday with the whole team Responsibilities Own a book of client accounts end to end: strategy, execution, and results Carry the billables on your accounts, hitting utilization and revenue targets per client Own the P&L per engagement: track margin, flag scope creep, control costs Make and own strategic trade-off calls: what to build, defer, or push back on with a client Build the business case for every project on your roadmap, in revenue unlocked or cost taken out, and prove the impact once it ships Lead digital transformation and systems integration projects end to end: ecommerce platforms, OMS, WMS, POS, ERP, and the integrations between them Improve client performance outcomes across systems, fulfilment, and store and warehouse operations, not just delivering scope, but proving measurable business impact Build and run the work yourself where we don't have a specialist team: the systems audit, the integration spec, the migration plan, the process redesign Brief, direct, and hold accountable the specialist teams executing on your accounts, including pushing back when their output isn't moving the client's numbers Identify and close upsell and expansion opportunities within your book Reprioritize workstreams in real time as client requirements, blockers, or business priorities change, across concurrent engagements Stay ahead of what's changing in retail (AI-enabled operations and service, unified commerce, new fulfilment models, platform shifts) and translate it into concrete moves for your clients before they ask Report account health, billables, and financial performance to leadership on a regular cadence Surface client-driven insights and feature gaps to inform the roadmap for Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products Qualifications 4+ years in retail operations, ecommerce operations, or retail systems and technology, with direct accountability for revenue or business performance (bonus if brand-side) Demonstrated P&L or budget ownership: margin tracking, cost control, resourcing decisions Track record of leading at least one successful systems integration or platform migration in a retail environment (ecommerce, OMS, WMS, POS, or ERP), from scoping through go-live Deep hands-on expertise in at least one of: order management and fulfilment, warehouse operations, POS and store systems, or ERP and systems integration, with enough fluency across the rest to direct specialists and judge their work Able to build the business case for a systems project and defend it in financial terms, not just technical ones Able to translate between business stakeholders and technical teams, and to write a spec a developer can actually build from Track record of growing accounts and driving measurable business outcomes, not just delivering on scope Comfortable building the work yourself, not just overseeing it, and staying that way as your book grows Comfortable making prioritization calls under ambiguity and pushing back on stakeholders when needed Able to hold a room of senior client stakeholders and keep the relationship strong through hard conversations Strong project management skills: multiple concurrent clients, on time and on budget Retail or retail tech industry experience required Excellent written and verbal communication
