Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Loss Prevention Manager who will be responsible for Loss Prevention operations across Canada and play a key role in supporting all Fox Group banners operating in the Canadian market. The Manager will reinforce the organization's core values and support company compliance in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation. This role will partner closely with Store Managers, field leadership and Head Office teams to support LP training, conduct store audits, address inventory loss and shrink, assess risk exposures, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as a business partner in generating, analyzing and communicating reports related to shrink and stock loss performance, internal and external investigations, and fraud prevention. Ensure Loss Prevention standards and procedures are consistently executed across all Canadian stores. Manage CCTV and alarm systems, including reviewing footage, identifying issues and coordinating resolutions in compliance with applicable privacy legislation. Review inventory accuracy and shrink controls across the store network to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement. Conduct store audits and communicate findings and action plans to Store Managers and field leadership. Support the development and implementation of Canadian LP policies, procedures and workflows. Ensure stores meet internal Health and Safety requirements and applicable provincial regulations. Collaborate with Store Teams and Head Office to communicate and implement Loss Prevention directives and initiatives. Develop and maintain LP reporting to help reduce theft, fraud, risk and inventory shrinkage. Conduct internal and external Loss Prevention investigations and investigative interviews in accordance with applicable law and company policy. Coach and influence Store Managers and field leadership to strengthen LP awareness, accountability and compliance. Monitor discount and employee purchase activity through regular reporting and audits to support proper use of the employee discount program. Coordinate and support inventory counts across all brands. Support the development of the Canadian LP function and contribute to building the LP team as the business grows. Managing the Loss Prevention Function Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve Loss Prevention processes, controls and operational efficiency while staying current on industry best practices. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training for store teams on Loss Prevention practices, safety protocols and emergency response procedures. Technology Integration: Stay informed about developments in surveillance and Loss Prevention technology and recommend tools or improvements that strengthen store security and controls. Ethical Standards: Maintain high ethical standards in all Loss Prevention activities and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legislation. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate: Minimum 3 years of progressive Loss Prevention management experience in a high-volume retail environment. Strong knowledge of retail Loss Prevention, shrink management, investigations, inventory controls and store auditing. Positive, collaborative and hands-on leader who can build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to coach and influence Store Managers and operational teams. Takes initiative and ownership, with strong presentation and negotiation skills. Able to prepare and deliver reports, metrics and audits with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Degree or diploma in Law Enforcement or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Fluency in English is required; French is an asset. A current Provincial Security Guard Licence and Standard First Aid / CPR certification are considered assets. Position Details: Location: Toronto (GTA), Ontario, with regular presence in stores. Scope: Responsible for supporting Loss Prevention across Canada for all Fox Group banners and stores. Reporting: Reports to the CEO / General Manager, Canada, with a dotted line to the Global Head of Security. Team: Individual contributor role initially, with the opportunity to support and help build the Canadian LP team as the business continues to grow. Travel: Regular travel across Canada based on business needs and a structured annual work plan. Additional travel on short notice may occasionally be required to respond to critical or exceptional incidents. Measures of Success Training Effectiveness: Demonstrated improvement in LP knowledge, compliance and performance following training initiatives. Shrink Reduction: Measurable reduction in shrink and inventory loss across the Canadian store network. Audit & Compliance: Improved inventory accuracy, audit results and adherence to Loss Prevention procedures. Risk Management: Effective identification and mitigation of operational, theft and fraud-related risks. Store Partnership: Strong engagement with Store Managers and field leadership, resulting in increased LP awareness and accountability. Continuous Improvement: Successful implementation of practical solutions that improve Loss Prevention processes and controls. Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 This is a vacant position.
