We are growing rapidly and are looking for an experienced, Finance Operations Manager who will be responsible for ensuring every financial transaction within RFL Wealth is accurate, reconciled, forecasted, and reported. This role serves as the company's financial operating system-owning the movement of every dollar from the moment revenue is generated until it appears in the company's bank account and financial reports What Success Looks Like Leadership always knows the company's financial position. Every revenue stream is reconciled and accurately reported. Cash flow is predictable. Financial reports are delivered on time. No commissions, invoices, or payments fall through the cracks. Every dollar can be traced from source to bank account. Financial processes support scalable company growth. Reporting provides leadership with actionable insights and decision-making support. Core Responsibilities Own revenue operations across financial planning fees, investment (AUM) revenue, insurance commissions, and future business lines. Reconcile expected revenue, invoices, commission/dealer statements, bank deposits, and accounting records. Prepare weekly executive dashboards covering revenue, cash flow, profitability, forecasts, receivables, payables, and budget variances. Manage cash flow forecasting (30/60/90-day and annual). Own departmental budget tracking and variance analysis. Manage accounts receivable and collections. Oversee accounts payable and vendor payments. Review payroll, bonuses, commissions, and contractor payments before processing. Monitor banking, loans, credit facilities, and debt obligations. Coordinate month-end financial operations with the external accounting firm. Maintain executive KPI dashboards. Continuously improve and automate financial processes while documenting SOPs. Develop financial controls and operational safeguards to ensure reporting integrity. Analyze trends and provide recommendations that improve profitability, efficiency, and cash management. Support strategic business planning through financial analysis and forecasting. Weekly Responsibilities Reconcile all revenue streams. Update executive financial dashboard. Update cash flow forecast. Review outstanding commissions and invoices. Review accounts payable. Meet with the COO to discuss financial status and risks. Monthly Responsibilities Complete month-end reconciliations. Prepare financial reporting package. Review budgets and analyze variances. Update forecasts. Review receivables and debt obligations. Coordinate with external accountants. Quarterly Responsibilities Budget revisions. Financial process audits. Vendor contract reviews. Financial control reviews. Cash flow analysis. Strategic planning support. Key Performance Indicators 99.9% financial reporting accuracy. 100% weekly revenue reconciliation. Weekly dashboard delivered before leadership meeting. Forecast accuracy within ±5%. 100% payroll accuracy. No unresolved financial discrepancies older than 14 days. Rolling 90-day cash flow forecast maintained. Ideal Candidate 5+ years in finance, accounting, or financial operations. Experience with multiple revenue streams, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software experience. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, follow-through, and process improvement mindset. Strong financial reporting, cash flow management, and business analysis skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, investment management, banking, or professional services is considered an asset. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA designation in good standing. Experience with financial reporting systems, accounting software, and business intelligence dashboards. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and cash flow management. Demonstrated experience building scalable financial processes and operational controls. First 90 Days Map all company revenue streams. Own reconciliation of planning fees, investment revenue, and insurance commissions. Implement weekly executive reporting. Build a rolling 90-day cash flow forecast. Standardize month-end financial operations. Document finance SOPs and identify automation opportunities.
