Quality Control Inspector RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector. Responsible for reviewing and evaluating Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction projects, including using the plan design against new build, span and drop replacements (if needed), installations, proper installation of any fiber-optic cable, splice cases and cabinets, splitters and XWDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing), underground installations (bores, vaults, and trenches) and MDU lockbox replacements. Key Responsibilities * Perform construction inspections for quality control in accordance with the company’s standards. * Verify that property restoration is consistent with the Company’s standard practice. * Operate test equipment as needed to verify optical and RF power levels are set as designed. * Document (in still image and/or video) that underground vaults and cabinets have been built and installed as planned. * Prepare work orders to resolve any element in the plant that does not meet specifications. * Communicate with the Project Manager or designated Supervisor regarding concerns about construction progress. * Ability to work weekends as the business needs dictate. * Perform emergency locates as necessary. * Adhere to industry-specific local, provincial, and federal regulations, as applicable. * Perform other reasonable duties as required. Qualifications & Experience * Five (5) years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the outside plant (OSP) that supports fibre optic services. * Working knowledge of safe construction practices used in building aerial and underground communications networks. * Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to read and interpret general system layouts from blueprints and system maps. * Familiarity with computer or test equipment associated with position (ex. signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.) * Valid class 5 driver's license with satisfactory driving record Work Environment * Field-based in varying environmental conditions. * Walking over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather. * Cover a large geographic area across Southern Manitoba and Saskatchewan Job Details: * Regular travel in the field Monday to Friday with some overnight stays required * Salary dependant on Experience * Benefits package * Cell Phone allowance * PPE orders through the year Why Join RFNOW? * Competitive Compensation – Recognizing and rewarding your expertise. * Career Growth & Development – Opportunities for professional advancement. * Comprehensive Benefits Package – Including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, EAP, paid time off, company-provided technology & tools, and more! * Collaborative & Innovative Work Environment – Work alongside industry experts in a forward-thinking organization. Requirements

Candidates must have at least five years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of outside plant fiber optic services. A valid class 5 driver's license and the ability to read system layouts from blueprints are also required.
