We are currently seeking to fill a full-time permanent position as a Logistics Supervisor for Outbound Shipments, based in our Surrey location. Reporting to the Operations Management team, your role will be to supervise and coordinate outbound logistics activities, ensure efficient shipment preparation, support operational priorities, and contribute to maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, safety, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead the outbound logistics team Coordinate daily shipment preparation and outbound activities Ensure that the right products are shipped to the right place at the right time Oversee quality control related to shipment accuracy, timing, and packaging Work closely with transport companies and internal departments Develop specific plans to prioritize operational activities Organize tasks and assign work according to operational needs Monitor and review employee work to ensure productivity and quality standards Support hands-on activities when required, including filling shipments Plan and organize operational logistics activities Prepare and submit operational reports Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Train employees on duties, procedures, and company policies Coordinate safety-related activities and promote a safe work environment Organize and maintain inventory Arrange for maintenance and repair work when required Oversee and coordinate maintenance-related activities Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in a logistics, warehouse, distribution, or operations environment Experience leading and coordinating a team Hands-on operational experience Forklift experience required Previous experience with asset management or inventory control Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work effectively Strong problem-solving skills and ability to improve operational processes Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments Customer-service mindset and strong teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment The Ideal Candidate Is A strong team leader with a hands-on approach Organized, structured, and able to manage priorities Comfortable working in a busy logistics and distribution environment Focused on productivity, accuracy, safety, and quality Proactive in solving operational issues Able to motivate, train, and support team members Collaborative and results-oriented What We Offer A Canadian flagship company: Proudly rooted in Canada with operations across Canada and the United States, Richelieu enjoys strong brand recognition and an excellent reputation. What you’ll do

Supervise and coordinate outbound logistics activities to ensure accurate and timely shipment preparation. Lead the logistics team while maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and quality control.

Requirements

Requires previous supervisory experience in a logistics or warehouse environment and mandatory forklift experience. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced distribution setting.
