Job details

A full-time Learning Resource Teacher is required at the Errington Learning Centre (ELC), located at Errington Elementary School. The successful candidate will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized educational programs for students with complex support needs. The ELC provides a smaller learning environment designed to help students develop self-regulation, communication, social-emotional, and foundational academic skills, with the goal of returning to their inclusive school community. This position requires a flexible, collaborative, and highly adaptable educator. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in response to evolving district needs. Fully qualified Learning Resource Teacher with recent, relevant experience. Demonstrated success supporting students with significant learning and/or behavioural challenges. Strong skills in individualized program design, case management, scheduling, and student support planning. Experience collaborating with educational assistants and multidisciplinary teams. Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and prioritization skills. Requirements

Applicants must be fully qualified Learning Resource Teachers with recent, relevant experience and demonstrated success supporting students with significant learning or behavioral challenges. Strong skills in individualized program design, case management, scheduling, student support planning, collaboration, organization, time management, communication, and prioritization are required.
