The Slot Shift Manager must report all operational exceptions/concerns to the Slot Duty Manager and/or Slot Operations Manager. Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all guests, associates, and AGLC personnel. Ensure the Slot Department is operating efficiently in all areas and is effective in driving profitability. Ensure the guests are being provided with superior customer service A passion for excellent service and the organization’s vision Commitment to learning what our customers' needs and wants are. Encourage mutual accountability in service and inspiring others Ensure the slot floor and cash cages meets desired presentation for our guests through out hours of operation. Willingness to discover opportunities to exceed the customer's expectations. Uphold a teamwork experience offering assistance where available or when requested. Ability to accept responsibility readily and grasp instructions Ensure the guests are being provided with superior customer service Develop and mentor the slot associates (Slot Cashiers and Slot Attendants) as well as the Count Team Providing support and motivation to all slot positions Ensure proper implementation of established procedures and controls for effective and secure cash flow Ensure proper implementation of established policies and procedures pertaining to the Slot Floor and Slot Cage Assist in the execution of the slot associate entry to exit process for the department (recruitment, hiring, evaluations, etc…) Ensure all slot operations are in compliance with AGLC Terms and Conditions Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests Support and communicate between all applicable departments associated with the Casino gaming floor Responsible for the daily execution of operational goals and objectives providing input on ways to grow the business increasing revenue opportunities Provide feed back on departmental/resort events and initiatives from a guest perspective Participate and assist in the implementation of action plans resulting from business plans, associate surveys, guest surveys, consultant feed back etc. Gain an extensive knowledge of the Casino’s Resort Club Monitoring quality in for areas of the operation and continually looking for efficiencies within these areas (The pull, Slot Floor) Participate in meetings internal and external to our operation to gain consistency in communication and improve the overall guest experience within the resort Performing the Daily Stand Up to all associates as they arrive for their shifts Ensuring that our operational goals are being met and our business philosophy is being incorporated Being key performers in the area of customer retention and recovery Ensure proper staff coverage to support the day-to-day operation of the Slot Department Actively participates in the Scoring and Coaching of assigned programs Maintain an AGLC gaming workers license Uphold a teamwork appearance offering assistance where available or when requested Ability to work under stress obtaining organization skills in time management To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace. All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities High school Diploma Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Power point and Excel Must be able to register with AGLC if not currently registered Introductory to accounting an asset Experience 2-3 years (preferred) in the casino/slot industry 1-2 years (preferred) demonstrated experience as a Slot Attendant or Slot Cashier Casino financial accounting and back ground an asset Exceptional customer service skills Able to lead people in different position levels to reach departmental objectives Able to adapt to procedural changes when deemed necessary by house or AGLC guidelines A Slot Shift Manager will balance the time they spend physically and administratively supporting all areas of the Slot Department (Slot Floor, Slot Pull). The schedule for this position is time compressed and would vary. It would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred experience includes 2–3 years in the casino or slot industry and 1–2 years as a Slot Attendant or Slot Cashier, with strong customer service and leadership abilities.
