This position will be responsible to safely drive and operate a dump truck for the timely delivery of aggregates to residential clients. The ideal candidate is a driven, independent, safety focused individual that is able to communicate any potential issues clearly and concisely to the team. Responsibilities: Drive and operate dump truck to residential job sites. Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicle. Safely position truck to ensure mechanical track functions effectively. Ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of product to customer. Conduct site hazard assessment at each job site. Communicate with the dispatch team about scheduled deliveries, delays, and other delivery details. Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to customer site rules while delivering materials. Always comply with PPE requirements and health and safety protocol. Maintain accurate records of equipment inspection and record keeping. Coordinate with the shop/mechanics to ensure mechanical issues are addressed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid class 1 or class 3drivers license and clean drivers abstract 1-2 years of previous commercial driving experience. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a frequent basis. Prior experience working in the construction, concrete, or a related industry. Key Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Reliability and dependability. Willingness to learn new skills and take on varying tasks. Hours of Work Regular work week will be Monday through Friday 40+ hours per week.
