The Shipper/Receiver position is primarily responsible for the safe loading and unloading of concrete related products within the warehouse and yard using a forklift. This position will also track the incoming/outgoing shipments and maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse. Responsibilities Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using a Forklift. Receive new materials and verify shipment condition and accuracy. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of shipments into the inventory processing software. Count inventory levels and advise management of discrepancies. Uphold a strong understanding of a broad range of concrete related materials and products. General yard and warehouse maintenance. Active participation in safety including wearing PPE, attending safety meetings, identifying/reporting hazards, completing incident reporting, etc. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. General labour duties, as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license & clean drivers abstract. 2+ years of general warehouse experience. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently. Forklift operating experience and previous forklift training certification is an asset. Key Attributes Safety Conscious Team player Attention to detail Hours of Work Regular work week will be Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm. Work Environment Warehouse environment where PPE is required, including CSA steel toed boots.
