About the Role Are you passionate about digital marketing, data, and driving real results? We’re looking for a Programmatic Trader to be based in Calgary Alberta, Canada. In this role, you’ll support our digital sales and strategy teams to create, manage, and report on campaigns across programmatic display, search, and social. You’ll gain hands-on experience in campaign setup, performance tracking, and client communication while helping brands grow their digital footprint. What You’ll Do Campaign Setup (30%) Work through setup and launch campaign strategies within DSP Use A/B testing, audience segmentation, retargeting, conversion rate optimization (CRO) to improve campaign outcomes. Collaborate with the execution team to ensure campaigns are properly configured and launched on time. Campaign Management (40%) Monitor and optimize all in-market campaigns within DSP Assist Digital Marketing Coordinator in generation of monthly reports. Inclusive of building out automation of reports. Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, CRM data, marketing‑automation platforms) to interpret data and drive decisions. Report on performance, produce actionable insights for stakeholders, and adjust strategies based on data. Execute recommendations and optimizations on a monthly basis. Strategy Support (20%) Support RFP creation through confirming platform capabilities when applicable. Recommend client strategies when applicable. Pull Vertical Impression availabilities and share with Digital Marketing Coordinator. Team Support (10%) Contribute ideas to digital strategy for new business opportunities. Support internal marketing as subject matter expert when needed. Create standard process documentation. What You Bring Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, media, or advertising (agency experience preferred). Strong understanding and hands on experience with paid digital channels —display, search, social, and video. Bonus: experience with programmatic vendors or DSPs and strong understanding of paid media KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC) and attribution models Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, UTM Tracking, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce). Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative skills—able to interpret data and translate into engaging campaigns. Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable presenting ideas and results. Organized, curious, and eager to learn new tools and techniques in the digital space.
