Project Coordinator (Construction) 📍 Waterloo, ON 🚗 Extensive Travel Required A growing and respected construction company specializing in Commercial, Industrial, Water, and Wastewater Treatment projects across Ontario is growing their team. They are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Project Coordinator to support construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on active construction sites, working closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. What You'll Do Coordinate day-to-day project activities on commercial, industrial, water, and wastewater treatment construction projects Act as a liaison between Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients Attend site meetings and provide project updates Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and key deliverables Assist with procurement, purchase orders, and material deliveries Coordinate subcontractor schedules and site activities Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and project documentation Maintain accurate project records, reports, and correspondence Monitor site progress including progress photos and report to Superintendent Support health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with site requirements Assist with change orders, contract administration, and project closeout documentation Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively Requirements 3+ years of experience in construction project coordination, project administration, or a related role Experience supporting commercial, industrial, municipal, water, or wastewater treatment projects is strongly preferred Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, schedules, and contracts Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively to project sites throughout Ontario Nice to Have Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or related education Experience with municipal infrastructure projects Familiarity with project scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes
