Job summary

PMO / SAP Deployment Project Manager – Supply Chain Process (existing solution) Main Mission Ensure the operational deployment of an already designed and configured SAP Supply Chain process, making sure that: Business teams complete all tasks required to implement the process (data, organization, training, tests, communication). The existing SAP solution is strictly respected (no challenge to the core design or key configurations). The new process is effectively used and stabilized across the target sites. Key Responsibilities Deployment Management (without challenging the solution) Build and maintain the detailed deployment plan Ensure all business prerequisites are completed on time: cleansing and enrichment of master data (materials, BOMs, routings, suppliers, customers, MRP parameters, etc.) update of internal processes (roles, responsibilities, procedures). Lead deployment steering meetings with Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance managers. Manage risks and dependencies related to business readiness (key user availability, data quality, local resources). Coordination of Business Tasks Clearly define, for each business function (planning, purchasing, logistics, production, customer service), the tasks to be completed before, during and after go‑live, The owners and deadlines. Track progress through a detailed action plan (checklists by site, by function). Follow up, escalate and remove blockers with business managers to secure milestones. Act as the link between the central project team and local teams to ensure alignment with the standard SAP process. Compliance with SAP Standard / No Solution Redesign Promote the target SAP model as the group standard: explain the rationale of the process, its benefits and rules. Filter change requests: Guide users towards proper use of the existing solution. Ensure no reconfiguration is launched without formal governance decision (and as part of a future design project, not of the current deployment). Testing, Go‑Live and Stabilization (Business Side) Organize business testing (integrated tests, UAT) based on the already configured solution: preparation of test cases, mobilization of key users, tracking business issues (local settings, incorrect data, incorrect process usage). Prepare and manage go‑live: readiness checklists (data, organization, training, procedures validated), business contingency plan (managing disruptions in production, logistics, customer service). Oversee the hypercare phase: monitoring of functional incidents, supporting operations teams in using the new process, consolidating feedback for continuous improvement (without challenging the standard design). Change Management Define and deploy a communication plan tailored to Supply Chain and operations teams. Clarify role and responsibility changes: who does what in the new SAP process. Organize training: training plan per population (planners, buyers, replenishment, logistics, customer service, production), materials focused on “how to use the standard process” rather than “how to change it”. Monitor process adoption (SAP usage indicators, compliance with procedures, user feedback). understanding of Supply Chain processes and how they are implemented in SAP, with a role focused on: deployment and adoption, mastery of business tasks required for a successful go‑live. Knowledge of relevant SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and possibly APO/IBP) to: explain usage rules, understand the impact of poor data or inadequate local processes. Proficiency in project and deployment management tools (planning, action tracking, reporting). Soft Skills Firm but supportive attitude: ability to say “no” to unjustified change requests while listening to business needs. Strong ability to mobilize business teams on their responsibilities (data, process, training). Results‑driven mindset: focus on achieving go‑live and process stabilization rather than redesign. Clear, pragmatic and hands‑on communication with operational teams. Ability to handle tense situations (high operational stakes, tight timelines) while keeping the standard model as reference. Experience and Education Proven experience in SAP deployment or roll‑out projects, with an existing group solution. Experience in an industrial and operational Supply Chain environment (plants, warehouses, distribution) is strongly valued. Success Criteria On‑time completion of all business readiness tasks (data, organization, training). Go‑live without major incident linked to poor business preparation. Effective use of the standard SAP process in deployed sites (usage rate, rule compliance, reduction of Excel workarounds). Avoid reconfiguration requests (use core model) Technical Skills Understanding of Supply Chain processes and how they are implemented in SAP, with a role focused on: deployment and adoption, mastery of business tasks required for a successful go‑live.
