Robert Half has partnered up with an industry leader to identify a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong technical accounting knowledge, experience preparing accurate and timely financial reports, and the ability to support a fast-paced, deadline-driven reporting environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related reporting packages. Support internal and external financial reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Coordinate and support month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare supporting working papers, schedules, and disclosures for statutory and management reporting. Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, audit, and operations to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness. Assist with external audit requirements, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor requests. Review and analyze general ledger activity to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement. Contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting processes, internal controls, and documentation. Support special projects related to technical accounting, process improvements, and system implementations, as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or pursuit of CPA is considered an asset. Accepting public practice background or industry background 4+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience. Experience with financial statement preparation, month-end close, and account reconciliation. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a collaborative environment.
