Job Description This role is for a Prototype Assembler 3. This is a full-time position on 1st shift. You will report to the production supervisor and work full time onsite in Cambridge, Ontario. Your Responsibilities: Assemble and wire products across multiple products using mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material, and work instructions. Troubleshoot assembly and wiring issues, identify causes, and recommend design or process improvements. Record work order activities, task completion, and quality-related data in FactoryTalk ProductionCentre (FTPC). Maintain high standards of quality by following documented procedures, work instructions, and established manufacturing processes. Demonstrate a commitment to safety by following all environmental, health, and safety policies, participating in Behavioural-based Safety programmes, maintaining 5S workplace standards, and reporting potential hazards. Support operations by adapting to multiple roles, assisting team members, and providing training and guidance to other employees. Participate in continuous improvement programmes, including Lean/Six Sigma activities, process improvement projects, and efforts to enhance safety, quality, and productivity while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. SKILLS: Mechanical aptitude Reading and understanding written instructions, i.e., CSPs and DWIs Use a computer to view, log, and find appropriate job-related information, i.e., SAP, FTPC Work In a team environment Use manual tools and, power tools and machinery Demonstrate proficiency of assigned responsibilities required to achieve customer satisfaction, including SAP, Factory Talk and Kronos. Demonstrated skill and proficiency (productivity, quality and safety) in all areas of MVB. EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION: Level 3: 2 Years Related Experience, High School Education/GED PREREQUISITE: Internal wiring course Perform the responsibilities of a Prototype Assembler Level 1P and 2P Accept Role Requirements Must be able to lift 35lbs Meet the requirement of Safety, Attendance and Code of Conduct policies Visual and Hand Dexterity Sit and Stand for long periods Use proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures. For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from 53,920.00 - 80,880.00 CAD Annual with an annual target bonus of 4% of base salary. Requirements
Candidates must have at least 2 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and the ability to lift 35lbs are required, along with completion of an internal wiring course.
