Description Reporting to the Superintendent, the Solar Labourer is a temporary position that offers the opportunity for permanent employment in the construction industry. Solar Labourers are responsible for the safe execution of basic construction tasks on commercial-sized photovoltaic solar energy sites. Responsibilities Ensuring worksite is clean and organized throughout the duration of the project Carrying out setup and take down duties of all equipment at start and end of day Assisting tradespeople on commercial worksites Following instructions on proper removal and disposal of solar components Qualifications Strong communication abilities and English language fluency Must be able to safely lift 70lbs (32kg) Comfortable working in a variety of outdoor weather conditions Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Basic computer and software skills Competent using basic handle tools safely
