Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst offers a financial support to the retail store sector for all the Rona inc banners. The analyst will work directly with the regional vice-presidents, market directors and store managers of RONA Inc. to provide support for their store analysis and budget. RESPONSABILITIES : Act as a financial advisor for the store management teams, mainly District Manager and VP Operations team. Be aware of their projects, challenges and performance to meet their needs; Prepare monthly financial analysis of the stores, answer the questions of the store managers; Support the central finance team in preparing variance analysis, performance analysis and other; Participate in various special projects and financial analysis requests in order to optimize corporate stores productivity and performance; Prepare store budgets as well as quarterly forecasts; Improve the various Excel tools to increase productivity; Support the Financial manager, Store operations; REQUIREMENTS : University degree in accounting or finance concentration. Hold or in the process of obtaining a recognized professional designation (CPA) would be an asset; Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position; Experience in Retail business an asset; Hability to understand and interpret various themes and problematics; Autonomous, motivated, focused on delivering work of high quality; Hability to analyze, synthesize and present to executive management; Strong skills for interpersonal relations, teamwork and collaboration with multiple stakeholders; Ability to prioritize requests and work under pressure, in a fast growing and changing environment; Knowledge of Office (Advanced Excel and Powerpoint); Bilingualism (French and English), oral and written; Frequent communications with internal/external partners and/or clients/employees outside of Québec Enjoy working in constantly changing environments. Requirements
