Employment Type: Full-time 40 hours/week - evenings and weekends may be required. Placement Date: Immediately. The Inside Sales and Technical Support Specialist is responsible for sales and customer support, orders and project Coordination, technical support, administrative and documentation duties, and marketing and business development support. Main Duties Handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and web, qualifying leads and identifying customer requirements for all the company’s products. Prepare accurate quotations and proposals based on specifications, drawings, and bills of materials. Manage pricing, communications, and follow-ups through the company’s software to close sales. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and OEM partners. Enter and process orders accurately in ERP, confirming pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules. Verify material availability, issue acknowledgments, and communicate shipping details and tracking information. Coordinate between outside sales, factory teams, and customers to ensure project visibility and timely updates. Interpret technical documents and assist customers, engineers, and architects with product selection and technical inquiries. Support field representatives with data sheets, submittals, and installation/operation manuals. Maintain and update customer databases, pricing lists, catalogs, and sales documentation. Prepare reports and track key metrics, including quote-to-order ratios and response times. Organize internal and external meetings, project schedules, and marketing activities. Manage warranty claims, RMAs, and post-sale documentation. Ensure proper documentation, control, and record-keeping for all sales and technical activities. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional initiatives and coordinate trade show participation. Assist with product presentations for engineers, architects, and distributors. Identify and engage potential new distributors and customer accounts. Qualifications And Skills Required BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales/administration with a proven record of achievement. Proficiency in French is highly preferred and will be considered an asset. Experience in selling electrical/technical/industrial/HVAC products is preferred. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Team-oriented with a proactive approach to customer service and continuous improvement.
