Department/Unit/Program Description The Environmental Services Department strives to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The duties of the department are carried out to the highest possible standard in accordance with infection prevention and control best practices. Position Summary The Environmental Services Department is currently seeking two [2] Permanent Part-time Environmental Services I team members. Effective Date: November 02, 2026 Essential Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and co-operatively with all levels of staff, patients and the public Demonstrated high level of communication, organizational and time management skills Must have, or be willing to successfully complete training in a number of required competencies including CPI, WHMIS, etc. Must be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting, pushing, pulling and periods of bending/stooping Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job as per the current Physical Demands Analysis Preferred Qualifications Previous housekeeping/grounds keeping experience in a health care setting or similar institution Hours of Work Must be available for days, evenings, nights, Monday through Sunday, with weekend rotation. Shifts and hours may vary according to departmental requirements and as per the CUPE Collective Agreement. Requirements

A Grade 12 education or equivalent is required, along with effective cooperation and communication with staff, patients, and the public, and strong organizational and time-management skills. Candidates must be physically able to meet the job's demands, including heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending, and must have or be willing to complete required training such as CPI and WHMIS.
