ABOUT THE TEAM Within the Advancement department, the Development team leads philanthropic fundraising in support of student success, academic excellence and RRC Polytech’s strategic objectives. Working collaboratively across the institution the team builds strong relationships with donors and partners, manages fundraising initiatives and proposals, donor stewardship and engagement, ensuring donors see the impact of their support on the RRC Polytech community. WHAT YOU WILL DO The Donor Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the integrity, consistency and maintenance of all constituent and gift data. This position has significant responsibilities as the frontline contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure all gift processing is accurately recorded and reconciled with RRC Polytech’s financial services. They perform all aspects in the management of the records and gifts in the Development database; including Donor Stewardship and Annual Giving Support, Student Awards Coordination, Heritage Group as well as Gift in Kind Process Management. The role also requires strong numerical aptitude and the ability to run and interpret reports, coordinate data from multiple sources, and prepare accurate donor financial statements to support stewardship, reconciliation and decision-making. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Diploma in accounting, finance or business-related field or formal education in database management. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered Experience in non-profit gift processing Experience with financial reconciliation and budget monitoring Experience creating queries for reports and mail merges for receipting Ability to use critical thinking skills to navigate and anticipate requests for data and to solve complex technical problems Excellent oral communication skills Strong written communication skills Ability to organize, multi-task and meet very distinct deadlines Ability to take initiative and work independently Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement NICE TO HAVE Awareness of the ethical, societal, and policy considerations related to AI Ability to use AI tools to gather, analyze, and report data Experience inputting data or gift entry into Raiser’s Edge or a similar donor management system WHY WORK WITH US At RRC Polytech, we believe our people are our greatest assets. Salary Range for this position: $49,595 - $69,838 per annum Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year.
