Marmot Basin is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to join our team for the upcoming season as a Snow Host. This is a volunteer position with a commitment of 20 workdays, in exchange for a staff season pass with benefits. Volunteers will be on a permanent probation period for the duration of their work commitment. Core Competencies: Experience in the customer service industry Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capable of working outside, including in severe weather conditions Ski industry experience or any training in dealing with the general public Role Summary: Snow Hosts are part of the Guest Services team and serve as the first point of contact for guests. You will primarily assist in the mezzanine area outside the ticket windows and near the Rental Shop, Snow School Desk, and Group Sales. Your role is to provide information, guidance, and assistance to ensure a positive guest experience. Key Duties: Welcome guests and provide information about mountain operations, facilities, schedules, events, and conditions Ensure a smooth and orderly flow of walking traffic in the mezzanine area Anticipate and resolve guest needs Identify and report safety concerns for staff and guests Adhere to company policies, including the Employee Handbook, Harassment Policy, and Privacy Policy Details: Commitment: 20 volunteer workdays Compensation: Staff season pass with benefits Employment Type: Seasonal Volunteer

Requirements
