We are searching for a Chef de Partie to join our M&E Kitchen Team, who can hit the ground running in our kitchen. You will have the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of events and food styles, catering for everything from business meetings and conferences to weddings, marquees, birthdays, funerals and staff food. You will be expected to run a service within the kitchen and manage junior team members to ensure the food goes out to the highest standard What We Are Looking For Calm and focused under pressure during busy periods Flexible and Adaptable to different demands Works well in a team but can also be a self starter Reliable Willing to learn Key Responsibilities Preparation of dishes using the best fresh & local produce. Run a section/function within the kitchen Train junior chefs to work to expected standards Taking pride in being responsible for helping to deliver high-quality food for our guests Working well in a busy kitchen and thrive under pressure. Team player and who can respectfully communicate to the team Be reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and passionate in your work Experience of working in a busy kitchen and thrive under pressure. Can deal with deliveries and stock rotation Maintain kitchen hygiene standard at all times Following all health & safety / COSHH protocol Do all the above whilst following the core values of Rudding Park Be aware of Health and Safety In return for your hard work and commitment we offer: Enhanced pay - 50p per hour for evening work after 7pm (Sunday - Thursday), £1 per hour for weekend day work until 7pm (Saturdays and Sundays), £1.50 per hour for evenings from 7pm (Friday and Saturdays) Service Charge (Tronc) earn up to an additional £5,000 per year Company sick pay for up to 4 weeks A range of discounts including 50% off spa days and dining, not to mention preferential room rates for employees and family (subject to availability of course) Annual party, family fun days, and award dinners - we love to celebrate!
